Did someone do something nice for you and ask you not to thank them. Or, maybe, they gave you a card asking you to thank God and thank Jesus instead? Good. Accept it and give thanks to the Father and the Son. Think about it. If that person wasn't a servant, they wouldn't have gone out of their way to do something nice for you.
Make sure that you read and understand the card you were given. It is scripture and a very good lesson. Nobody is degrading you because they think you need so much. They just wanted to do something nice and have you give the praise to God and Jesus. I mean, if I do something nice for you and you can't thank me, who should get the thanks? You know who should, God and Jesus.
And, if at all possible, pass it forward.
And, as always...
"Be Well, Be Blessed, Be His"
Then Jesus said to his host,
"When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
